The biggest surprise: Studio consumed credits just from importing a URL, before I even clicked Generate. I imported a real article from mrreviewai.com and ElevenLabs pre-calculated the audio at 18 minutes and 17 seconds. Generating that full narration would have cost roughly 18,000+ credits — nearly two full months of free plan credits for a single article.
Text to Speech
The core feature, and the one most people come for.

I tested several voices including the popular preset voices and the quality is genuinely impressive — better than any free TTS I’ve used from Google or Amazon.
